Pregnancy Tips a True Story

Women have to go through a lot of pain at the time of delivery. Childbirth is not all easy and takes a lot out of a woman who is just about to deliver a child.

I would like to share a personal experience where my wife was about to deliver a baby. We were all tensed as we all knew about the pain she would have to go through. Jus t next to me I saw a spiritual looking young man silently chanting his mantra. He was calm and not at all worried.

Just moments later he got a call from the maternity ward that his wife delivered a baby girl. He smiled looking at my tensed face and I congratulated him but could not stop to ask how the guy could be so calm when his wife was in so much pain.

Looking at me weirdly, he told me the secret. He told me that just when the labor pains started he gave his wife two spoons of Cow urine.

To my curiosity, I asked …… Why?

Well, I was amazed at the answer.

Cow Urine (from Indian cows only) helps you in a painless delivery. Just when a woman gets started with labor pains give her two spoons of Cow Urine (Gaumutra).

Now this did not impress me much and he could understand that. He asked me to try it once since it had NO SIDE EFFECTS.

In the meanwhile my wife showed first signs of labor pain and while I was with her I asked the doctor about cow urine.

The doctor at that time was not too sure but knew about the painless delivery and she gave two spoons of Cow Urine to my wife as well.

Now I must say that it doesn’t taste too good but the results are just superb.

To my surprise my wife gave birth to a baby girl and had to experience NO PAIN at all.

I was IMPRESSED!!!

Since then I have recommended this to many pregnant women and have been hearing only good things about Cow Urine.

Now, it’s not that I follow everything blindly. I am a computer professional and use internet for almost any doubt I have in mind. I found out countless benefits of Cow Urine.

But I must tell you that Cow Urine should only be used of Traditional Indian cows.

All benefits including this are not only tried and tested remedies but have been mentioned in the Holy Scriptures as well.

I have now recognized places where you can get filtered Cow Urine and can easily help you in getting the most amazing product

To order cow urine please contact me by writing an email or visiting Squidoo

Nitin Vyas talks about pregnancy issues. In the above article He has shared a true story. You can visit my blog cow Urine Utilities if need to contact him

Pregnancy and Fertility Tips

Ancestral worship is the underlying principle of Chinese ethics. Therefore, the birth of a child, in particular a son that will carry on the family’s name, is regarded as an extremely fortunate event. As such, there are many customs and rituals to encourage child birth especially among couples who are yet childless, unable to conceive or who have no luck with male infants.

When a daughter who remained childless after the fifteenth day of the previous year of marriage, relatives from her family would send her a series of auspicious items on an auspicious day selected between the fifth and fourteenth day of the month. These items include the following:

A paper lantern, figuring or painting of the Goddess of Mercy or Kuan Yin, depicted as carrying a child in her hands, frequently with an inscription of ‘Child Bestowing KuanYin’;

Painting of a hundred children – You will only find 99 children in the painting, this originated from Wen Wang, the Duke of Zhou in 1231-1135 BC who had 99 children plus one he adopted. The painting of a hundred children symbolizes many descendants that lasts for generations

Paintings or figurines of unicorns – Ancient texts had mentioned that each time the unicorn was sighted, an illustrious offspring will be born. It was mentioned in ancient texts that Emperor Yao, Emperor Shun and Confucius were born after the unicorn appeared. Some said the mother of Confucius became pregnant when she followed the footsteps left by the unicorn in a temple.

Paintings or figurines of elephants – Elephant brings infant luck to those who are wishing for babies in their lives. Buddha’s mother dreamt about a white elephant and got pregnant after that.

Oyster in an earthen vessel – The oysters have the same sound as ‘younger brother’, while the earthen vessel means ‘to come’;

Rice cakes or Gao – means elder brother, Ge, which implies having more than one son;

Oranges or Ju – means Ji, quickly or with urgency;

Garlic – sounds like grandchildren;

A lantern is presented bearing an inscription ‘Child in A Tub’, a reference to the typical wooden tub used to receive children during child birth in ancient China;

A lantern shaped like an orange called Ju Deng can offered;

Pomegranate – Many seeds, which implies many sons;

Sugarcane – The long and many segments signifies many elder brothers;

Bean Curb – Which means ‘sure to have’ in local parlance

If these auspicious efforts were successful, on the hundredth day after the birth of a male infant, a tray containing essential everyday items were placed in front of him. These include clothing, toiletries, combs, writing brush etc. Whatever item the child grasp is an indication of his fortune later in life.

Tips for Breastfeeding Diet

Copyright (c) 2008 Charles Carter

There are several important things in the life of a woman. Among various things, breastfeeding is considered as the most important thing. Breastfeeding is really a very special experience for women. It is a phase of life which is equally important for both the mother as well as the child. For the women, proper diet at the time of breastfeeding is extremely important. For proper development and well being of the baby it is very important to follow some dos and don’t about the breastfeeding diet.

Most of the people remain in dilemma as to take what sort of diet for breastfeeding. If you want to make some alterations in your diet then you are required to wait for a moment. To begin with, it is very important to first of all consult your health care professional so as to make sure whether the alterations made by you in the diet are going in the right direction or not. In case it is suiting your lifestyle then you can certainly go for it. However if it is not then it is advisable to leave that option and go for any other. It is so because you cannot take chances during this phase of your life.

Among various important things, the first and the most important thing is to focus on the proper intake of vitamins in the diet. If you want all the vitamins in right proportion then you cannot manage it with the help of any kind of nutritional supplement. It can be achieved only and only through a well balanced diet. Along with normal breastfeeding diets try to include some fruits as well as vegetables in it. If possible then try to go for five portions of vegetables and fruits in each day’s meal. For proper amount of vitamin A and C you can include broccoli in your routine breastfeeding diet. If it is a season of winter then having a sun bath can be an outstanding idea. It is a fact that sun is a great source for vitamin D and it can fulfill your requirement in a natural way. In summer season, you can manage this requirement by going for dairy products, oily fish and margarine in your breastfeeding diet.

Some of the minerals like Zinc, Calcium and Selenium are considered very important for a breastfeeding mother. For including zinc in your breastfeeding diet you can go for red meat, sardines, baked potatoes, hard cheese, cashew nuts and fish like prawns and mackerel. The best sources for calcium include almonds, spinach, white bread, dried figs, tofu and calcium enriched Soya milk, and sardines.

This is all you require to include in your breastfeeding diet. But the description of breastfeeding diet is not confined to this only. There are some of the things which we require not to do while going for a breastfeeding diet. If you prefer the intake of alcohol then it is highly advisable not to have it now. The contents of alcohol indirectly reach to the milk which the young one sucks through the breasts. It can be extremely harmful for the physiological functions taking place inside the body of the young one.

Avoid caffeine as much as possible and go for calorie free sugar. Only go for home made food and avoid the processed food to a very extent. It is not advisable to go for foods which contain a large amount of additives in them. Thus one should not go for consuming peanuts as it is in the position to leave allergens in the breast milk thus it needs to be avoided.

If we talk generally then we can say that there is not at all any specific diet in terms of specific breastfeeding diet. The most important thing that one should take care is to focus on the well balanced diet. Still if you have any doubt or you want to know more about the breastfeeding diet, then either you surf the net or you must consult the doctor. There are several sites on the net that can provide you with all the useful information about the breastfeeding diet.

Breastfeeding is no doubt the most special gift for a woman. It is important to take care for all the aspects as then only it can prove useful for the mother as well as the baby.

Diet Tips for Women on the Move

Staying on your diet can be a challenge for anyone, but for a busy working mom the challenges can be especially tough. A busy lifestyle can make it impossible to get to the gym for a daily workout, prepare your meals ahead of time, or even to remember to pack your lunch for work each day. Being in a rush can make it difficult to stick to your diet when it’s so easy to grab something at the drivethrough. Here’s a collection of hints and tips from other busy women that will help you stay on your diet despite all the temptations.

Don’t try to ’save time’ by eating on the run, or snacking at your desk while you work. No matter how rushed you are, take the time to eat like a civilized human being, to quote my mother. Set the table, put your food on a plate and have a meal. You’ll eat less and feel fuller – and not feel the urge to snack because you ‘haven’t eaten anything all day’.

Cook just what will be eaten. Ignore all those homemaker articles that suggest that you ‘cook for tomorrow’ to save time. Cook one portion per person at each meal. That way you’ll avoid the temptation to finish off the leftover – and teach your family healthy eating habits.

Get up early enough to eat breakfast at home. The morning rush to get ready may make it tempting to grab something on the way to work, or skip breakfast entirely. Don’t do it. You’ll end up eating up all that saved time – and a lot more calories – with midmorning trips to the snack machine, or fight off the blahs all morning long. Stock up on easy breakfast foods. A piece of fruit, a container of yogurt and a slice of toast are a healthy, balanced start for your day.

Most diets suggest that you drink at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day. If the thought of drinking a half gallon of water makes you queasy, there are ways to make it more appealing. Stock up on flavored bottled water in the fridge at work and keep one icy cold on your desk. At home, float mint sprigs or lemon slices in a crystal pitcher. There’s no added calories, but oh what a difference in presentation and flavor!

Trying to lose baby weight can be frustrating. You want to take it off as quickly as possible – but your body may not be cooperative. Keep in mind that your body is designed to nourish a child for up to a year after you give birth. Putting it on a starvation diet will kick it into survival gear, making it even harder to lose the extra weight. Instead of fighting your body’s natural tendency to store up nutrition for the baby, eat healthy portions and increase your activity level. And if you’re breastfeeding, remember that your body needs up to 1000 more calories a day than usual. Don’t skimp – you’ll just convince your body that it’s starving.

Employ the buddy system for moral support. Making a pact with a friend to exercise together makes it easier to stick to your resolution. Instead of meeting with friends for lunch, challenge friends to a tennis game, or take a brisk walk in the park together.

Remember that a healthy, active lifestyle and a nutritious diet are the true keys to losing weight permanently. By choosing a diet that makes sense for your lifestyle, you’ll make it easier on yourself to lose weight, and keep it off for good.

Are Baby Walkers Safe

What’s the most dangerous form of transportation on earth? Believe it or not, it’s the baby walker and your child could be its next victim.

This was revealed by the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics which are both calling for a ban on the manufacture and sale of mobile baby walkers that are responsible for over 25,000 child injuries in the United States each year.

Researchers at Ohio State University College of Medicine reported in the journal Pediatrics that despite adult supervision, infants in walkers received injuries such as contusions and abrasions, concussions and head injuries, lacerations, and skull fractures.

“The vast majority (96 percent) of the children were injured after falling down stairs in the walker, with more serious injuries occurring when infants fell more than 10 stairs,” researchers said.

“Amazingly, this is the tip of the iceberg as probably over 90 percent of walker accidents are not considered severe enough to come to the attention of the physician, although they may cause extensive anxiety and guilt in the parents,” added members of the Injury Prevention Committee of the Canadian Pediatrics Society.

Despite these hazards, walkers are extremely popular – they are used in 80 to 90 percent of households and parents buy more than three million a year.

Drs. C.A. Kavanagh and L. Panco reported in the American Journal of Diseases of Children that between 77 and 86 percent of babies between 5 and 10 months of age use walkers. Seventy-five percent of parents bought the device to keep their kids quiet and happy. Unfortunately, that has not been the case as the high accident toll from walkers shows.

In 1984, 24,000 children were injured in walkers according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). That grim scenario hasn’t changed. In 1991, 29,000 children sustained fractures, concussions, dislocations, and other injuries as a result of walkers. In 1993, hospital emergency departments treated 25,000 infants injured in walkers. Most of those injuries came from falls down stairs.

“Each year about 200,000 more suffer less severe walker injuries. Between 1989 and 1993, 11 infants died in walker-related accidents,” according to the editors of Health News.

Walkers were first perceived as dangerous in 1982 when several medical reports surfaced showing them to cause injury in children below a year old. A Canadian study that looked into 139 walker injuries said the head was the most vulnerable part in accidents involving this device. This was confirmed by another study that showed that 42 percent of babies under age two who were injured in walkers suffered serious head wounds.

8 Tips on How to Lose Baby Weight Fast

Continue nursing – if you are nursing, you really lose weight very rapidly and you can still enjoy an extra 500 calories daily.

Keep moving – new moms are given up to a year to get the weight off. However, whatever you do, don’t allow let the weight settle.

No more white bread – whole wheat only or wholegrain.

No soda – avoid it like the plague and drink water only (or the odd glass of pure fruit juice, or sugar free). Water really is one of the major keys to weight loss – it breaks down the fat and flushes your body clean.

Dancing, or another enjoyable hobby – I took up Contemporary Jazz dancing after my first child, and was surprised when I met up with a friend I hadn’t seen in quite a while and she thought I was slimmer than I had been before I had my baby!! The best part is – it didn’t even feel like exercise, I really enjoyed it!

Walk to the local shops instead of driving – put the baby in a stroller and walk briskly, a great way to enjoy the fresh air and get that heart rate pumping. Walking is also great if you suffer from post-natal depression, it’s very therapeutic.

Strip That Fat – The other solution that will help you work wonders on your body (the healthy way and for long term results) is the Strip That Fat program. Most diets simply do not work because they are burst diets. They help you lose a few pounds in a couple of weeks…and then BAM, the weight comes back on. That’s because the weight you lose on those diets is water weight – water is easily removed and easily reintroduced to the body…and you can fluctuate 10lbs in a couple of weeks just by losing some water weight! This is not sustainable and this is why the Strip That Fat system makes more sense. It is long term, helps you lose fat (instead of water) and is sustainable. Click Here to check it out and see what they can do for you.

Yoga – many people think that yoga is just stretching. But while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. Celebrity mums such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna are fans of yoga to keep their bodies in top-notch form.

I wish you well in all your goals – and I have no doubt that with the information I have provided here, in conjunction with the Strip That Fat program, you will definitely reach them!

I really hope that I have been a help or motivation to you in showing you how to lose baby weight fast. I have done it – so can you!

My name is Deb and I’m based way down under in New Zealand. I have only just started article writing, so hopefully I will improve over time. I hope that my knowledge and experience in the things I write about help people out there.

I have been in the position of needing to lose a few extra pounds myself – I wanted to feel good and look sexy. I hope that I can help others do the same. Burn Your Baby Fat Get Your Body Back

This lifestyle program for busy moms is a comprehensive guide to what’s arguably the most widespread, challenging and frustrating issue faced by moms today: how to get their pre-baby body back. For almost all mothers the changes their bodies incur during pregnancy coupled with the countless responsibilities that motherhood bring spell trouble for regaining their pre-pregnancy figure.

There is no shortage of fitness, diet and fat loss products on the market today. You can find a veritable library of conflicting arguments almost anywhere you choose to seek information on the subject of fitness for women, whether it’s online, at your local library, through contact with personal trainers, or through the (less reputable but nevertheless very common) ranks of wannabe experts: aka, those frustrating people with no qualifications and no practical experience but are self professed experts because they ready the last issue of Shape magazine.

What Sets This Product Apart?After months of frustration spent trawling through the mass of conflicting information on fitness and fat loss, it was with a mixture of joy and near-tearful relief that I stumbled across “Fit Yummy Mummy”, by Holly Rigsby. As the title suggests, this product is specifically for moms wanting to get fit. Literally all aspects of losing fat and getting fit are covered – and the best part is that it is written specifically for busy moms.

The material is presented in a manner both chatty and educational – it’s kind of like having a friendly conversation with a close friend that happens to be a fitness expert (with the added benefit of being able to refresh your understanding of the matter at any given time, simply by scrolling back to the relevant section.

The tone of the book presents a welcome contrast to the other fitness products so freely available elsewhere on the Net: it’s friendly, understanding of the unique situations moms face, informative, and above all, commonsensical. No unrealistic recommendations, 2 hour workouts, or zero-carb diets here: it doesn’t take long to see that this lady knows what she’s talking about when it comes to mom’s lifestyles (and did I mention she’s a mom too.

There’s a quick section on getting started and goal setting along with some morale-boosting advice on how to stay on track throughout the program, and then it’s straight into an action plan to get you started on the path to burning baby fat and getting your body back.

The Supportive Nutrition Plan is next – this is particularly helpful! Every conceivable nutrition issue is covered, from how often you should eat to what you should keep in your pantry. And on top of that, it includes a ‘Create a Menu Planner’ to guide you in creating every meal to support your success.

Next, the Fit Yummy Mummy fat loss workouts are covered, but not without easy to follow explanations of the why’s and the how’s for every part of the workout program. The workout plan even offers four different formats that you can plug into your lifestyle, something not found in any of the cookie cutter fat loss programs on the market. My favorite part of the workout section is that regardless of your exercise (or lack of exercise) background, there is a workout designed specifically for you. And no matter what you fitness level is, none of the workout programs require more than 90 minutes a week.

Finally, there’s a section called the Busy Mom’s Fat Loss Companion crammed with easy to use tools and resources like a goal setting sheet, fitness journal, exercise descriptions and even a ready made grocery list. The author has figured out every excuse and obstacle busy moms have and addressed them all.

Sound overwhelming? It’s actually very user-friendly. Not only is this e-book packed with sound practical advice and the whole thing is laid out in a very logical and easy-to-understand format, but it comes with a Quick Start Guide to make sure you start acting (and seeing results) fast. The tone of Fit Yummy Mummy light and non-threatening (no scientific terminology here!) and it proceeds in a logical manner from step to step, with plenty of photos and descriptions to ensure that you are doing everything right.

In my opinion, one of the best parts: a follow up e-mail coaching series from the author that keeps you on track, gives you daily fitness tips and even healthy recipes. While most moms have the best of intentions, staying on track is tough. This follow up e-mail coaching series is the perfect solution.

Regaining their pre-pregnancy body is a daunting task for most moms, but the author’s personal experience and hands on work with over 250 moms is pretty reassuring; and she certainly knows how to break it down for even the most exercise illiterate. In addition to the main features detailed above, there are plenty of valuable extras included to make getting your pre-baby body back as easy as possible: checklists, do’s and don’ts, printable workout sheets, even ready to follow meal plans!

All in all, two thumbs up from me: when the information on hand is as detailed, easy to absorb, and – above all – reliable as http://www.yummymummydirect.com. You really can’t go wrong.

Easy Tips To Help You Get Pregnant With A Boy Baby

I often have people contact me and tell me that they think it’s too hard or difficult to change up their regimen in an attempt to conceive a boy baby. This frustrates me because none of the things that you need to do for a boy conception are all that difficult. Organization and being methodical is really the key. To prove my point, I’ll outline some pretty easy tips to help couples who attempting to get a son in the following article.

Don’t Over Complicate The Process. There Are Really Only Three Places Where You Should Focus Your Attention: In my observation, when people are very much intent on doing something right (especially when you only get once chance) they tend to over think it and bombard themselves with too much information. They are so afraid of doing something wrong that they become paralyzed to act. This contributes to them becoming scattered and trying to do several things when really they only needed to do a few things well.

To keep you from getting overwhelmed, it really helps to break this down to the most simplest of steps. You need to make sure that a Y sperm chromosome fertilizes your egg. You can increase the changes of this happening by coming up with a regimen that combines elements of timing, PH, and sexual positioning. These truly are the only three things that you need to worry about. It helps to develop tunnel vision for these things and to discard the rest.

Use The Gadgets That Make Conceiving A Boy So Much Easier: Back when our grandparents were having babies, people really didn’t have any technology when they wanted to chose their baby’s gender or sex. So, they had to use thermometers and their own observations because this was all they had. Today, we have the luxury of this no longer being the case. There are a slew of tools that will show you precisely what your PH is and exactly when you’re getting ready to (or have) ovulated.

It’s so silly to guess when you can know for sure, especially since the right timing is so vital. To conceive a boy, your best bet is to conceive after ovulation. But, if you’re making the wrong assumptions as to when ovulation occurs, you’re potentially missing the mark. And, you need to be alkaline to have the best chance of getting a boy. But if you’re not using PH testers to see what your levels are, you’re potentially falling short.

Precision is so very important and there’s no reason not to take advantage of technology. These tools aren’t pricy. And the most expensive models are not necessarily the best. I prefer the saliva predictors that are usually under $30. Not only are they inexpensive, they are also reusable so you don’t have to keep buying new ones.

Chart It Out So That You Can Visually See The Right Time To Attempt To Get Pregnant: I find that most people are very visual. And, when you’re spending a lot of time on your regimen, it’s easy to get lost in all the details. But, if you map it out (and using a calendar is very effective with this) it makes things easier. And although you might spend much of the month on your regimen, there are really only a few days during the month when you have the best chance of conceiving a boy. Try to make sure that you are literally seeing these few important days. Mark them with a big read X.

And understand that you need for all of the three variables to line up on those couple of days. You need to have the optimal alkaline reading on the same day as ovulation as occurred. And, you need to follow that up with the right sexual positions. If any of the three are off, the results could be compromised. That’s why it can help to check off each thing on that precise day. And since most people are visual, a calendar or check list can keep you on track. It really is that easy. Just focus on doing those three things right and don’t worry so much that you’re going to make mistakes so that you never really try.

Conceive A Boy is a website I set up to make the process of getting pregnant with a boy baby a bit easier. I’ve included instructions and resources for douching recipes and food lists, examples of PH testing strips and saliva predictors, as well as hints, tips, and support. Tip On Getting Pregnant

Forrest Gump said it nicely. Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re going to get. The same can be said of pregnancy and childbirth. Pregnancy can sneak up on you when you least expect it, and desert you when you are trying too hard.

Lack of knowledge can not only lead to unexpected pregnancy, but also hamper your efforts to get pregnant. For instance, many women assume that they can conceive easily once they stop using birth control. This can’t be further from the truth.

The following figures show how soon a normal, healthy woman gets pregnant once she stops using birth control.

1) In 1 Month : 25%
2) In 6 Months : 60%
3) In 9 Months : 75%
4) In 12 months : 80%
5) In 18 Months : 90%

And the chances that a normal, healthy woman who is not on birth control will get pregnant are only 20% to 40% during any given cycle. But if you look at them over the span of a year, the odds that a woman will conceive are actually quite high.

1) Below 25 years : 96%
2) 25-34 : 86%
3) 35-44 : 78%

Here are some tips that will help in some ways to an easier conception.

When To Have Sex?

Figuring out when you’re most fertile is the first thing you need to do. According to a study, a woman’s fertile period lasts six days – the five days leading up to, and the day of ovulation. This is when an egg is released from one of your ovaries, about midway between your menstrual cycles.

Likelihood of pregnancy can decrease anywhere between 10% and 36% if intercourse takes place a few days outside ovulation.

How Frequent Should I have Sex?

Perish the thought that your partner has to “reserve” his sperm count by abstaining from sex. Although your partner’s sperm count may get lower if he has frequent intercourse, it’s still high enough to achieve pregnancy. In fact, a study found that the more sex you have, the greater your chances of getting pregnant.

But that doesn’t mean you have to have intercourse everyday to make babies. The odds of conceiving are very high even if you just have intercourse every other day. Specifically, you can time your intercourse every other day between days 10 and 18 of your menstrual cycle (first day of your period is day 1) so that you have the most fertile period covered.

So, the next time you want to have a baby, watch those times of the day and enjoy your love making! Here’s to your good health and happiness and most important of all, lots of babies!
